Make-A-Wish® Foundation of Greater Pennsylvania and Southern West Virginia

BAE Systems Charity Run

BAE Systems held its 2nd Annual Charity Run on June 12, 2010, starting at 9:30 a.m. The annual event raised $4,960 for the Foundation. The riders traveled throughout Fayette County for the event and stopped at five different locations. Some participants of the run posed for a photo while holding the Charity Run plaque at a rest stop. A deer antler was auctioned off to benefit the Foundation and brought in $600 to help make wishes come true. The winner proudly displayed the antler on his motorcycle. Thank you to all the participants and organizers of the BAE Systems Charity Run for helping to make a wish come true! To celebrate a successful event, organizers held a Make-A-Wish banner in front of one of the tanks that BAE manufactured.

Spot Says… Wishes make a difference - more than 82% of our wish kids are still alive today. That says a lot about the power of medicine and the magic of Make-A-Wish. Spot the Dog
