Wishes On Demand . . . On Comcast

The magic of the Make-A-Wish Foundation now has its own place On Demand, thanks to Comcast. Available now, Comcast digital cable customers can view the inspirational stories of wish
children as their dreams come to life under  the new "Make A Wish Come True" Series On Demand. Viewers can go to the On Demand menu, select Your Town, then Give Back then Make A Wish.

The first wish story to be featured on the "Make A Wish Come True" series is 10-year-old Maria Hoge's wish for a trip to a dude ranch. The show follows Maria, who has been diagnosed with transverse myelitis, as she and her family travel to the Peaceful Valley Ranch in Colorado. Maria, of Venetia, Pa., loves horses and often rides them for therapy.

"Stories like Maria's touch us all and underscore the great work the Make-A-Wish Foundation is doing locally," said Linda Hossinger, Senior Vice President of Comcast's Three Rivers Region. "We are pleased to join the Make-A-Wish Foundation in making these stories of hope and strength available to our customers, who certainly will be inspired by them."
